The fourth tab on the Administrator View is the Pass Configuration tab. This is where administrators can create and modify the rooms and folders in the entire school.
A room is a single location that a pass can be made as its origin or destination. Locations in the school that would be rooms could be the Bathroom, Water Fountain, or Gym. Folders contain multiple rooms, for instance Classrooms or Offices.
Each room has a variety of options that administrators can configure to their school's unique requirements.
The room's name. Maximum of 15 characters long. There cannot be two rooms with the same name.
The room number. Room numbers don't have to be numerical. Maximum of 5 characters long.
Which teacher(s) should see pass activity for this room?
Will the room be available to make only round-trip passes, only one-way passes, or both?
What is the maximum time limit that a student can make a pass for themselves? Time must be between 1-59 minutes.
Does the pass need digital approval to become an active pass? In other words, can the student simply create the pass for themselves, or do they need to get digital approval from a teacher. Passes to restricted rooms will be sent as Pass Requests.
Does the pass need digital approval to become a scheduled pass? In other words, can the student simply create a scheduled pass for themselves, or do they need to get digital approval from a teacher. Passes to restricted rooms will be sent as Pass Requests.
Customize the room restriction by configuring which teacher(s) the pass request may be sent to. These are the four options:
Each singular room (room not in a folder) and each folder have appearance options to help make passes more recognizable to students and teachers.

To create a new room, click the + New button, and select New Room. Administrators must enter each of the required Appearance Settings and add at least one room, and then click Publish.
Rooms must be created within a folder to publish a new folder. These rooms carry the Room Settings listed above, and to add a room to a folder, an administrator must enter each of the required Room Settings.
Rooms may be imported from a document for faster folder/room creation. Import a list of room names, room numbers, and teachers in room from an Excel spreadsheet or CSV. Please download the template provided on the Importing Rooms page.
Rooms may be added to a folder from existing rooms that were not previously in a folder. Please note that all Appearance Settings of that room will be lost.
To edit existing folders, simply click on the existing folder and change whichever Room Settings or Appearance Settings. Please note: Expired Passes, Scheduled Passes, Pass Requests, and Active Passes will automatically be adjusted based on the changed Room Settings, but will not be adjusted to the modified Appearance Settings.
Multiple rooms and/or folders can be selected by clicking the Bulk Select button.
Bulk editing the selected rooms or rooms within the folder will change any Room Settings you choose, and will apply these changed settings to all rooms selected.
This will create a new folder with any selected rooms or rooms within the folder. Please note: Appearance Settings will be lost.
Rooms and Folders may be rearranged to allow quicker pass creation. For instance, many administrators choose to put the Bathroom and Water Fountain as the first two rooms since these are the most frequent room destinations. Rooms and Folders may be rearranged by simply dragging and dropping the rooms and folders.
